Sure, go ahead :)

As I don't know what sampler specifically those .akp maps are, it might still be a good idea if you can whip up maps for both 16 and 24 bit samplers. Especially if you come up with more useful mappings, as some people have done with their SFZ etc. maps...

Currently we have at least those .akp maps and LM4 and RM IV maps, courtesy of someone whose name escapes me (but at least I have the details for those available), if everything goes fine we'll also add Battery/Battery2 and FL Studio FPC maps. DS-404 is one thing that might be of use, I'll take a look at it tonight.

If there's someone out there with more maps, now would be the time to let us know :) The more the merrier. Also suggestions and wishes for other formats are welcome, most popular formats can be done by visiting friends and utilizing their software for the task.

Spe3d did an RM4 kit ;) , it was at Harmony, but I could upload it to the auditorium if you don't already have it.

The one I have has this bit of information:

and the LM4 kits are done by him as well.

But I wouldn't say no to yours either :) As long as you can provide me a direct link for it or can email it to me. The easier it is to get, the faster this project will happen :D

Come to think of it... didn't you host some of the files at your site? Are they still available? I could snag them from there as long as they have details provided so the right people will get the credits.

No I dropped them as they were going to BombSquad a few months back - the only files now at The Auditorium (see my post a few up) are the fonts and the waves.

From the radio thread I understand you have loads of bandwdith and several servers

- given this the Kingston drums will be removed from my servers - if you could update the links at your site (sooner rather than later ;) that would be cool.

Thank you jmh

The sfz mappings are still up on my site. http://www.drealm.info/sfz/Kingston

Wake me up if I've got broken links, OK? :D

pljones you da man! Good descriptions and all :) If you don't mind, I'll copypaste the stuff to our layout (which will most likely a little revamping before I release the mappings page).

About two weeks would be my estimation...

Nah, it's gone now.

Somehow I knew it'd bite me in the ass - would have preferred to make all changes at once... ;)
