I'm going to try to recreate this album (snippets inside)

hey guys,

I'm going to try to recreate the music from an album in Reason 2.5. to give me (and my friends who are helping with it) a better understanding of Reason 2.5 and it's capabilities and well as learning about production in general (like song arrangement and how to tweak sounds etc.)

here is snippets of the album I'm going to try to recreate. I've made each snippet approxiamtely 30 seconds (file size 8megs);

can anyone provide any help in terms of identyfying the most prominant instruments used throughout the album and any basic advice to help me accomplish my task. Recomending some Sonic Reality refills is definitely welcome as well but keep in mind I'm close to ordering (as soon as mu next pay check comes in :p) the follwing refills;
1) Sonic Refills Vol. 10: Instruments of the 60's & 70's
2) Sone Refills Vol 1 - Vol 5 (Box Set)
3) Sonic Refills Vol. 11: Retro Keys
