Hi

I was very impressed by the demo of this instrument, so I have bought it.

I've read through the manual, but wondered if there are any further tutorials or walkthroughs available?

I think I understand some of the basics, but I would love to feel more in control of all the cool stuff in the M42.

Can I just check that I've got all the stuff.....

When I load M42 (in Tracktion or energyXT) I can see 128 patches.

If I load TC_M42V11.fxb I get 32 patches.

Also, if I load M42_V1.0.sf2, presumably these are the sounds used by both banks.

Is that right?

Is there anything else I should have downloaded?

Hi Alan

yes...there is a second bank at the download site for ver1.1 with 128 patches..you should get that!!

also..you are right..the SF2 covers all the patch banks so you don't need to load it again.

I already had that file, but I put in one of the sub directories, and energyXT couldn't see it.

One other thing.......is there a way to reload the default set of patches, or do I have to reload the VST to do that?

so...you were able to load the second bank? Just checking.

To reload the factory, you need to reload the plugin as far as I believe,

HOWEVER

Once you do that, you can save the bank in eXT and you can have it as a seperate entity:-)
BTW: I am an avid eXT user, although have not used all the features. Its my main sound design tool.
