Powercore Element Worth the Verbs?

You know, I'm looking at how cheap the Powercore element is, and I'm thinking it could be a decent purchase as I hear good things about the verbs. Any comments from anyone? I know, I know, another verb thread, but in my defense most seem to talk about native verbs, and I'm concerned with how the Poco verbs stack up against the better native ones.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

You can not go wrong here.
The reverbs are better then any native ones and they don't eat your CPU so you can run 8 of them at the same time.
Personally I went for the UAD-1 cause the Plate 140 is all I need.

I actually want the UAD-1, but if I get it I'm going to hold off until I can afford the Ultra Pack or Studio Pack as there's just too much stuff that's excluded from the Project Pack that I'd want.
The Powercore Element seems like a good short term solution in that I might be able to pick up a few nice reverbs for a good price at no extra tax to the CPU. The question now is, can I actually still find one.

I am trying to buy an Element but they are on long backorder...let me know if you find a good source for any! Of course, make sure your order is confirmed first before you reveal your supplier so you don't give the last one away!

hey Jplanet, I live right outside Manhattan in Jersey, and I'm thinking about hitting up local dealers this weekend. If I find anything local, I'll let you know (please let me know if you find anything first). It seems like it's been discontinued so finding a new one online has been a no go.

Hye, I'm in your neighborhood, so definitely let me know, that would be awesome!Funkybot wrote:hey Jplanet, I live right outside Manhattan in Jersey, and I'm thinking about hitting up local dealers this weekend. I sent an email to Amazon to confirm if it was actually available or not...I'll post if I hear back.

I'm tempting to get one too, at 300 pounds you get the element dsp card and also sony inflator included....sounds tempting to me, but 300 pounds is not a small amount of money...so..it remains a dream...

I have waves r verb and uad dreamverb and realverb pro but the reverb i use 95% of the time is the powercore classicverb.
It sounds great and has an easy to use interface.
