Fine. People know the truth, now I'll shut up and let the music do the talking. Best wishes to all who entered. I'm not going to let this blow up into another typical "Lady J contest entry controversy" despite the actions of one person interfering with the competition.

It's one thing to have rules and conditions, quite another to change them in mid contest due to one person.

Hey, nobody's got anything against you. It's just that the fact that you're a good looking FEMALE gives you an unfair advantage in comparison to others. It's not sexist or anything...

Picture an all female contest about decorating rooms or something... You'll give the first place to the best room. Now imagine Brad Pitt decides to enter the contest and posts a picture of himself flexing his muscles in front of his newly decorated room. Wouldn't a bunch of horny girls vote for him, even if his room consisted only of a bed and 4 walls with colours that don't match?

Not in recent memory (I think there were some horrible hair shots in the METEL contests), but I can definitely say that nobody has had felt that posting *two* pictures of themselves was appropriate.

That's what he essentially said: it's derailed the gossip thread for a few pages, so "in that case" it's appropriate.

And it's continuing to derail the thread to talk about how it's derailing the thread...

Now you're just talking out your ass. You're free to go back over the 3+ years of monthly contest submission threads and tell us how many people have posted pictures of themselves, and how many posted two. Then bring us this evidence how you are being solely persecuted in this matter and perhaps we'll take this pitful mewling with the seriousness it might deserve.

I seem to remember Donkey Tugger and remco posting pictures.. Also Ixox. And this was not about the quantity of pictures was it? Did he say anything about me posting two? Was there a rule prohibiting us from posting one or two pictures of ourselves? No. But I guess there is now. Or will it only be in contests i enter?

Like I said, I have no problems with rules that are spelled out and clearly stated, I do have a problem when someone starts a game and then changes the rules as they see fit. That to me and any objective observer is unfair. I didn't tell people to talk about my pictures in the thread and I don't see how a general gossip thread about the contest can be 'derailed". By removing the pictures I believe he did more to 'derail' the thread by creating a controversy where non need to exist than if he had just left them alone.

Besides aren't we supposed to listen to all entries and vote? If this is the case what difference does it make? I guess I am not allowed to encode a picture wit the track either? (as I had done)

Except when, for instance, your song is over the time limit or encoding rate that is "spelled out and clearly stated".

Please don't try to fall back on the "I'm a law-abiding citizen" defense: your record has proven that rules are an inconvenience to you and you'll try to bend them whenever possible.

That's specifically what I'd like to ask you: If this is about listening to music, what do *you* care that the pictures were removed from your posting? What difference does it make? Are you so insecure of your music and production skills that you think this has dealt a crippling blow to your chances in the voting?

At any rate, pHz runs the contest. pHz can edit the submission thread how he wants. Casting aspersions upon him in general for this one instance given his long track record of both fairness and generousity is a petty, childish thing to do.
