Where did I ever say you were bullying? I just said you were in my opinion unfairly changing the rules and tampering with the process as you saw fit. That isn't bullying. (You didnt call me any names though others here have.) That's why i said we can just agree to disagree and move on.

Compromise? i will retract that if you can admit that what you did was arbitrary to the situation and based on the inherient sexism having to do with men sexualizing the female body.

Sheesh, I'm kind of glad I've been ignoring this thread (not entering the contest this month, though I will be reviewing and voting).

You people crack me up.

I'd just like to say 2 things:
1) I didn't see anything wrong with LadyJ posting self pics. They fit the theme and if anyone really would let them sway their vote, then you probably need to spend less time on KVR and more with your wife, girlfriend or looking at porn sites. When it comes down to voting, my vote will be based on the music, not pics.
2) LadyJ, you know as well as anyone that those pics were intended to invoke a sexual response. For Christ's sake, you're a nice looking girl posing for pics in basically your underwear. How else do you think a heterosexual male will react? Crying about how the female body is "instantly sexualized by men" is just a little over the top. Either use that fact by posing in scanty clothing, or refuse to play into that whole sex sells bit by only posing in non-revealing clothes. You can't have it both ways.

Like I said before, you people really crack me up!

Don't start again! Men sexualise the female body because we were made that way. Accept that fact and move on. That's not sexism! You're sounding like that black guy who used to accuse the whole forum of racism in every thread.

you cant see the difference between RECOGNISING a situation (and trying to minimise its effect in a small way) and PROMOTING it ???

like i said ... your acute awareness of sexualised female representation on the media and in society makes you just as guilty (if not more) ...
