The manual is excellent, far better than most. Bobby has mentioned the main translation things that stand out. (I didn't think poti was an english word - although 'pots' is short for potentiometers. 'Knobs' is just fine.) Still loving the ArtsAcoustic sound and flexibility!

As the self-appointed lexicographer of this thread, I'll field this one.

'Get a room' indicates that a couple's acts of affection have become too much, and that they should rent a motel room for their lovemaking.

I pass on the definition without comment.

Nicely explained. Egbert is probably just jealous. Get your own room, mate! AAR has hundreds of them ...

Finally had the chance to play with the demo last night. I sat for hours playing various sounds on my synths, and tweaking the AAR reverb. It sounds good... really good.

I am impressed by how much I can adjust parameters without it starting to sound wierd in some way. This is obviously one solid, well developed piece of software.

The UI is effective and easy to understand and use.

Up til now, I have used various free reverbs and while I have made good use of them, it is usually within a narrow range of settings that I find some result I am pleased with. Was feeling too boxed in so I was looking to purchase something better and more versatile. This is it. I was impressed working with the demo how over a few hours I covered so much range of good results. That was when I said this is the reverb I am looking for.

I have one prior purchase to make, then I will be buying the AAR reverb.

So far my fave reverbs have been the likes of Wavearts masterverb, lovely little plug.

But listening to the demos of this, this sounds really good too!.

I gotta say, the whole convolution reverbs out there, are slightly over-rated for me, I have 2 problems with those impulse driven ones. 1) Lack of real control for fine tuning when right in the mix and 2) The tails are never satisfying, always feel like they cut off. Sure this is fine when using shorter reverbs, but when those epic monster long ones are needed, impulses dissapoint for me.
