Hello,
does anybody know how to send a MIDI program change in FL Studio? I am assuming that I should use a MIDI Out channel. I am using Wizoo xPhraze and I want to send a program change to change the phraze being played in a given patch. The manual says that I should send a program change numbers from 1 to 16 depending on what I want to do...
All MIDI channels for the VST are corretly setup, but how do I send, say, program change 3 from FL to the VST?
Thanks!

Just change the "Patch" number on the MIDI Out plug (making sure its output port is set to the same as your pluging's input port).

Hello there, I think I figured it out (at least for the part I need...)
xPhraze has 4 phrazes per patch. Patch A has phrazes 1 to 4, B 5-8, C 9-12, D 13-16. The numbers for each of the 16 phrazes correspond to the Patch number in the FL MIDI Out generator. If you 'scroll' the patch numbers from 1 to 4 with patch A in edit mode you will see the 4 phraze buffers becoming active. The way to change the patch programmaticaly through a program change is then to right click on the patch number and either 'Edit Events' or 'Create Automation Clip' and then edit accordingly the events or the automation clip as required.
The other thing I noticed is that it does not matter which MIDI channel the xPhraze patch is assigned to, the phraze buffer seems to be 'generic' in that it changes regardless of the MIDI channel used to send the change...
I hope it all makes sense....
Thanks for all your help
