I am slowly installing my new software form the group buy (I have been so busy!!!!), and ran into a slight hitch that I hope someone can help me with.
I installed ST2L and all the sounds, the Trance Groove disk, and bonus disk all without problems. I am waiting to do the ST2 upgrade.
However, I installed Sonic Synth 2 fine, and most of the sounds. However, on Sound Disk 1, I have errors when I attempt to copy the B Keyboard folder and the IE effects A (I think is the name, I am at work) folder. On the first, I get a cyclic data (?) error, and on the second I get a 'cant read data' error.
I tried rebooting - I was able to install other disks both before and after this - I am not sure what to try next. Any ideas?
I cant wait to start using these!!

A cyclic error usually means that the contents of the disc you are trying to transfer to your pc got corrupted in the tranfer process due to windows checking..now this could mean a bad DVD or possibly something in windows causing an issue. By the sounds of it you may have a bad DVD if you can get the contents of other sectors of the DVD
Now i have known DVD players to get very HOT when doing alot of CD/DVD use which does cause a bunch of non-read errors etc..and if you were installing the ST2 pack thats like 8 cd's. Let it cool off for about an hour or so and try again.
Try if you can the SS2 DVD's in another pc if you have that luxury to verify the DVD isnt bad. Make sure your DVD reader is set to DMA mode and not PIO. If your DVD reader is in PIO mode then you have a problem somewhere...If it is in PIO mode then when you drag and drop your files that will have to be the ONLY thing you are doing during that process until you can get your DVD reader back into DMA mode.

I also got a cyclic error while installing SS2. I ended up copying those files over to my wife's laptop and used a memory stick to put them back on my computer. Luckily, it was only a handful of files.

If you determine that the DVD is indeed corrupt, just email support@esoundz.com and they'll send you a replacement.
