Midi files: Arpeggios???

I'm not sure that such a thing as "MIDI Arpeggio" files exist. If I understand them correctly, arppeggios are sequences that are based on which note(s) you play. Some arpeggios are based on single note, so when you play one note, your sequencer or synth plays a series of notes. How many notes, and at what intervals is determined by the arpeggio. With another type of arpeggio, you play a chord, or a set of notes, and the arpeggiator breaks them up, playing one of the notes at a time in an order (going up, down, random, etc) deermined by the arpeggio.
It seems to me that a MIDI file with a sequence of notes in it is nothing more than a MIDI sequence. But I could be wrong

To Lovesign: No man i can play by myself but my friend don't so i'll just make him some chorded files to play with. I was thinking maybe there's some midis librarys on the net that someone pulled out.
