Is a soundfont "geared towards hip hop" needed?

Working on the first one, learned the second one, won't learn the third anytime soon, surely won't learn the fourth anytime soon either :-D I would like to take a class in coding C++ sometime during school, and once I get some personal issues out of the way (particularly a job) i'll get started on creating VST's. Though I think with synthedit I could easily do that, but I don't wanna make what some refer to as "just another synthedit synth".
