I finally broke down and made samples of my Hewlett-Packard 200CD oscillator; I've been putting this off a long time, as I generally use it with my modular as a kick-drum-filler type of thing. It had never really occurred to me to use it for bass.
After making the sample set, it might not occur to me to use it for bass ever again. It's not quite a sine wave; I don't really know what to call it. But suffice to say, it's big. If you do dub or D&B, this is your pony. Head on over to my Analog Industries site to grab the sample set.
