A 30-band EQ?

I also think there was this program called Goldwave (or sumthing like that) that let you make kareoke tunes! ;)

Not worth buying the whole prog for, but if you have Audition, you can remove or isolate the center channel pretty damn well.

AnalogX also has a free vocal remover...

Not true. If the original vocals were recorded on the center channel, then you can clean out the vocals fairly well -- well enough so that if you add another vocal or instrument on top, the original vocal is all but inaudible. ;)

Use phase canceling..needs some work, but it removes the music well...or buy some bootleg copies of studio voxtracks...

'Extra Boy' works well.

But make sure your material is true stereo. mp3 encoding can screw up the phase information.

I can't reach your site from here - just get a placeholder.

Isn't the "Pandora" plug-in inside the "Sonikworks powerbundle" ( from prosoniq ) precisely designed for such a task ?

- nothing similar on PC ?

Try again. I had no problem just now. Maybe traffic is high.
