i really like your synths, but your site is a pain in the ass. i can't download the files from 29/11/02 and never could get any of the banks (File Not Found!) ... why don't you start, e.g., a yahoo group for your creations (20Meg file space) ?

Hi Javier,

This is Pere Mas, from Spain. I've been trying to download your complete range of free VSTis but it seems that we have reached Bandwidth limit.

Please, contact me at pvmas@ono.com (mailto:pvmas@ono.com) cause I've got some interesting proposals to offer you. :)

jerrr... mybe you've tryed to download that MVS2 file that didn't upload on last session....
Sorry for that error/mismatch/fail/GILIPOLLEZ.
I was trying to upload a 1,5 meg file with a limitation of 1Mb per upload.
That synth is not really working.... It's better that way, the synth was too early to be released.

Thanks for the Criticyies.

Woooorrrg!
VELOCITY????
Are you talking of Note Tracking?
Velocity Tracking?
Are you talking about modulate the filter with the Midi Key On Velocity?
Then, you have to try the VM or VM Lite and patch the "Velocity" to "F1Cutoff&F2Cutoff"...
Of course, I'm finishing a very simple bassline and I'll try to put a switcher to enable the "filter velocity", wasn't that???
Tell me 'bout.

Some people think they're BRIGHT...
Some people think they're "NOTFORYOUREYES"
and I agree that just only ONE person has said that the mvxsynths.galeon.com site is a pain in the arse..., but I don't know what to think about those who download my synths when almost noone of them send me NO COMMENTS ABOUT ANYTHING.

In this "GLOBAL COMUNICATION AGE" seems so stupid what poeple does ignoring those "FEEDBACK NEEDS".

Thanks to no people I don't know who your are. Maybe I'll never know who's using those VASynths created by me...
Just a BLACKHOLE IN T SPACE... nothing.

Thanks to thos who has said something.
I'll try to create better menus.

Javier,

i got the error below when i tried to make a comment on your site. the banks download alright now, but ... the site still s****. i especially like your mini GUIs - everything is readable and uses not more than the needed space. i will make other comments when i have made more with your synths than some abrasive baselines. ;-)

thank you

I'm going to hazard a guess as to why you're not getting enough feedback for your nice, fun little synths--there are too many of them. By throwing them all out there essentially at once, I don't think you're getting the credit you should. Maybe you should pick one and make it the "featured" synth. Give it a lot more presets and ask for preset contributions. But I really think you should only feature one at a time (maybe one a month).

Alternatively, you could try to build a supersynth or two that merges a few synths.

When I grab for one of your synths, right now I don't even know which one to start with.

I do like them, though. Quite a bit.

Couldn't have been said better.

Javier, do you remember when I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was having difficulty distinguishing your synths from each other? You replied that it was simple, because this-and-this letter indicates if it's whatever, this-and-this letter if it's something else, etc. etc. etc...

I'm sorry, friend, but most musos I know don't want to spend their time memorizing obscure custom-codes in names. Right now e.g. I have VX2b, VX3b, VXc, and VXGrothb (just from the VX series), and I cannot even remember which one I liked of these - or what the difference is between them. I tried to audition them, but they're so similar in almost every dimension that I ended up forgetting which one I tried in the first place.

Please don't take it as an offence: I like the sounds I heard, and they're excellent work - but they're too similar, too numerous, and too obscurely named to make one jump into the middle...

I've got a pop-up window there, damn I hate those :(

As for the miriad of synths on your page, I agree with the other comments. I would say take everything together and create two or three good synths from them. I myself for example are not going to download them all and picking one or two might not give me the best one of the bunch.... so the result is that I look elsewere.

By the way, besides all this I'm going to list your synths anyway on my site ;)
