I know there's tons of wrappers to make VST's work in Protools or a DX host, but is there one to make an RTAS or TDM work in a VST only host?

I got the Bomb Factory freebies but I can run them in Tracktion 2.

you can run them in T2?? wow, that's a first then! and no, there's no such wrapper...make your own please and tell the world!!

That's disappointing. A couple interesting plugs in that free bundle. I wonder why there's no wrappers.

Probably a conspiracy between Digidesign, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Dick Cheney.

Are good RTAS specs readily available? Do the interfaces correspond well at all?

One could also wrap WOW's Arp 2600 as well, if one had such a wrapping device.

well the thing is... Angus could write one pretty easily but it isn't allowed... so either you make your own one or you make your own one.... everything else would be illegal

but yeah I understand your desire.... I have PTLE myself and love the BF Limiter... but it just isn't possible to use them in anything then PT

Or if only they put out that PT free for WinXP - at least I could fly tracks into that and cook 'em! But alas...

After messing with RTAS plugs over time it came down to only BF's La2a I wanted in Sonar,but I like TimeWorks Compressor-X and Blockfish just as much.A good idea would be to create a decent comp and limiter in synthedit and recreate the GUI's of the La2a and 1176 and evetually the jones for a wrapper will dissapate.
