you might allready know this but have you found a way to sync your analog gear to fl 5.?????example:if i was to plug say a philip rees mds24 sync box into the midi out of fl studio,didnt matter what i tried it would never give me a clock output ,this you can tell because the mds24 box has an led light that flashes when it receives a clock pulse.i have now solved the problem and will share it with any one.:}

You could use the master sync output option from the midi dialogue box from within FL?

I sync just like spe3d says...c'mon it couldn't be any more simple...it wont slave but it will master.

I have the same problem. Nuendo can do this just fine. But with FL5 connected to my E-MU sp-12, no luck. perhaps cuz its a demo version?dazzer wrote:just in case i have problems with my fl could someome connect a midi hardware device to there midi out ,then run fl and see if it will run the midi device.i dont mean midi pulses,i mean clock output.as i am sure i read somewhere that fl doesnt have a clock output.anyone understand????
It plays the first note on the e-mu and then stops, while nuendo has no problems at all. quite odd.

This is still plaguing me with the new FL6 demo.
FL6 demo, enable midi out, enable master sync, using the midi out from a edirol fa-101 fireware interface into the midi in on my sp12. sp 12 set to slave.
Simply cannot do this successfully, but programs like Nuendo and Cubase can master sync to the sp-12(00) just fine.
Besides resorting to Midiyoke as Dazzer explained, does anyone else have any other suggestions?
