Can anyone one recommend a CPU friendly Low fi Old school Reverb. free if possible!

In terms of low fi I mean it doesnt have to be that great sounding.

Its goin to be used for me snares in general.

Classic Verb. I wouldn't call it lo-fi, but its cpu-friendly and has a simple, efficient GUI.

ambience has so many parameters to tweak, including cpu consumption, that you should achieve your goal.
The others reverb listed here are old-school,but sound much like echoverb (except kjaehrus classic).
You should also try SH-1 reverb, or aries verb.

Deelay has some verb patches, try the last ones which not only sounds like a spring verb, it will generate a new tail on each sound peak giving you a freeze like sound.

I wanted to try their ratshack rvb and also deverb, but i never could... it's such a pity !

Well, as a free old school reverb, you also have luxonix multiFx, which have some nive reverb plugins...
