HI

Is it possible to install the Manystation soundsets into Wusikstation without the Manystation vst?

I just want the sounds and not another dll!

Flipper.

Post

Yes you can.
But .... The bank files are in the Installer with the VSTi.
Which is seperate from the Data ....
So to get it all ...you just need to install everything and then delete the ManyStation Dll if you so wish to do .
All the sounds, banks and skins will then show up in wusikstation. You could even load a ManyTone skin on your Wusik Dll.

HI

Thanks - I listerned to your demo - those guitars sound very nice, expect an order soon!

You won't be disappointed - I think Manystation is worth the price for the guitars alone (and I'm a guitarist so could, in theory, do it all myself anyway!).

There are also persistent rumours here that there will be some more content for Manystation "soon" - though I'm not sure whose definition of "soon" we're using :)

Derek.

Paul, I'd like it the opposite way to this!

Is there any way to have my Manystation banks show in Manystation only? My Wusik dropdown for banks is too long now and I would prefer to separate them. :?

Hi 2windy
The new preset and browser system for Wusik Engine Version 2 will improve all this.
And don't forget it is a Free Upgrade for all ManyStation Users. We will adopt the Version 2 Engine once it has proven to be Solid and Stable. All customers will then receive the links to Download it ala' Free.
:-) :-)

Thanks

WS2 has been very stable for me thus far: first version I've had where I don't invariably have a crash from patch-browsing while playing!

That being said, has anyone sorted through the converted Manystation patches and put them into category directories? I'm thinking of doing this but would like to save some work! :)

Or should I post this question as a new thread?

Hi M

The Version 2 Wusik Engine is looking pretty stable at this point and we are about to have a Beta run here of it on ManyStation.

I will probably keep my folders organised by the Sound designers, as I like to know who did the programming of each patch.
We will see though once i get further into trying Ver2 Engine.
And Again .... Don't forget The Ver 2 engine will be a free Upgrade for all ManyStation Customers!
Coming soon.

Also our Bundle sale is on right now for New Customers and those too will get the new engine Free once we release it.

I'm a new WS2 user and would like to build a huge soundset and preset library. I already have the BIG PAK sounds but would like something less electronic-oriented, like good sounding pianos, guitars, drums, basses, strings, winds, etc. I'm already hooked on the Vox'd soundset and also looking at ManyStation and UBK.

Looks like you came to the right place then :) ManyStation + UBK will sort you out for guitars and basses as well as giving you some good drums and pianos (though there is clearly room for further expansion here - a drums addon has been discussed). Depending on what you're looking to do you might not get all of the strings and wind sounds you need though - take a look and the list of sounds and see what you think.

Derek.

Thanks, Derek. I've listened to all available demos and I like what I hear. I'll probably purchase Manystation in the next couple of months.
