Oh, and I rather like this song, so please don't steal my little melody.

i wont steal melody, but latest sound on that song is somethin like when u rewind vinyl,so i need your permission to use that

I thought you meant the Stones tune. In that case the answer was a Maestro Fuzztone. Oh well.

I think you'll find that this sound is from one of the typical hardware VA's. Sawtooth wave, passed through a distortion / drive effect. He then sidechained the bass to the kick, and automated a reverb send.

I'd bet this is bang on how that sound was made. In VST land, Id wager that Vanguard or Zero Vector would do a good job of this one (but Im sure anything would work).

I did a quick 5min demo using this lead sound in Vector. Email me if you want it (300kb rar).

that bass sound i've heard in latest britney spears's single Do Something ; looks like benny with his bass created a market , and specific genre .

how do I create a sound like in the track: beni bennasi - "Satisfaction" ? does someone know the name of that specific sound?

here is an example to this bass sound

thx.
Know what I think is interesting here? There's a clavé or a bell in an offbeat of the little clip you played, panned way to the left. I'm guessing the 808 "cowbell?" Are you talking about that, or the obvious thing, the farty saw bass?

Don't know what vocals you're referring to. I'm not at all familiar with this music. The entire genre seems to have come, spent its flash in the pan, and gone, before I ever became aware of it. Now it's like some old-school genre of a bygone era that everybody seems to know all about.
