So this basic topic pops up fairly regularly, either as an f/x question or the glitchy/spacey/industrial noise synth question.
I found a new fx today that does a fantastic job!

Krakli's xciter4 fx

It makes some really novel sounds using an interesting effect. Yes, it's been out a while,

But everytime I scan for plugs in FL, I saw the "excita" name which was eloxga's harmonic exciter. I actually had never installed Krakli's. So....go get it now and have fun. I just wanted to enthuse about this freebee, thanks Ian

Make sure you try Krakli's Effex, too. Very cool.

hmmm, I will have to try that. Of course, I d/l'd it and gave it a whirl, but on the new harddrive, it's another I've overlooked....

cramming drum hits (or loops) through xciter had produced some really cool effects!

Thank-you guys ... I've never bothered too much with my effects but I know that xciter4 was popular with some.. It got a very minor mention in CM some while back
