thanx spyro, great work!
anyone knows of a similar "glitch/stutter" plugin?
doesn't have to be midi..

so how does this work?
I thought you put it on an audio channel as an insert and then pressed some MIDI keys for it to kick it, but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

probably the plugin is not receiving midi data...
did you route your midi notes to the plugin correctly? The procedure is different from host to host
e.g. in flstudio you have to use the midi out plugin...
in sonar you set up a midi track that recieves midi from your keyboard and outputs midi to the vst plugin.

ah, thanks. Got it now. Use a MIDI channel instead of as an insert.
Very nice plugin. Much more controllable than Supatrigga. Thumbs up.
One thing though....there's some er...clicks and pops every time I hit a key and not of the pleasant kind

I'm fighting hard with those little clicks, but so far they are unavoidable in certain cases. It works a lot better on percussive elements instead of melodic ones so far.
Golden rule is... Leave spaces between notes, at least a quarter of a second or maybe a little less.
BTW: I'm adding an option to get synced delay times (1/4 1/8 1/16 etc) AS AN OPTION, so you can turn it on or off to get random or synced patterns. And also I'm adding an option to set MIDI delay times by MIDI keyboard notes so to make sequenced controlled patterns. At that point I guess the plugin will be finished.

to spyro:
been testing the plu for a while in flstudio, noticed 2 strange things
1) if i disable lfo sync to host ("s" button), the lfo freq knob seems not to work
I mean that if i turn the knob nothing changes in the freq of modulation.
2) i loaded a 4/4 drumloop into the sampler and made a pattern (with midiout to --->glitch) so that as I play the loop midiout sends a 4/4 long trigger note to glitch...well If sync is on and some lfo mod amount is set, at the first 4 beats modulation doesnt start...it starts later when the loop repeats the 2nd time.
Hope that i explained well and that i was usefull
hasta luego.

tempo = 140
step sequencer view.
On a channel i put a sampler which plays a drumloop (select cut itself)
On another channel i put midiout and set it to port 10.
I light the 1st step of both channel (that is: both play a 4/4 long middle c)
On master mixer channel i put glitch (set to port 10)
glitch preset:
Fbk full right, time & t/r full left, middle lfo, sync on 1b, mix 25%.
I hit play from flstudio transport...
then stop...and then play again...and this strange thing occurs.
If i go to the piano roll view of midiout and i shift the note just 1/4 step later this doesnt occur.
Hope it's clear...bye! i'm gonna leave the forum till friday!

ps. would be nice to be able to set t/r to 0...which means no random at all. In fact If i set t/r to minimum i always get some "randomness".
