anyone know of such.

i know drumagog does this but i have to route drumagog out to a midi device
and back in to record the midi note.... this isn't as precise as i would
like.

i think digital performer makes midi notes out of transients in its new
"beat detective" type algo.

does nuendo 3 or SX 3 do this?

or is there any other obscure application that i could use to generate midi
notes from transients?

I think Recycle may do this... (sorry, I don't know off the top of my head). You could check out the Prop's site for a spec sheet.

i am trying tassmans "extractor" plug-in now.

so far it sucks big time.

it is generating midi notes for transients that dont even break the gate threshold.... that's pretty useless.

drumagog can do that right!!
