Hi.. i have a thing i cant figure out. I might be stupid i dont know. If i have several fxp ie presets for a vsti. How do i make them all into a one single fxb ie bank? I tried within Sx but it seems messy. Is there a software that can compile several fxp's into one single fxb? Thanks for listening.

I asked this same question a while back. There isn't an app that can easily convert the fxps to one fxb.

It would be really cool if there was one; I also have a bunch of presets i would like to compile into a single bank.

By the way that sig is lol funny.

oh damn.. then there is only the way to save within the host.. a friend said something about making new empty bank and save those fxp's into there but i dont understand how to make a empty bank.

well it dosent have to be empty AFAIK

& any thing you save as will be new

There was some prog in www.patcharena.com that do make fxb from fxp, it called 'bankmaker' or something.

oh these are various vstis, albino, vanguard, discodsp etc etc
this is for backup mainly

TobyBear's MiniHost has some great patch management features and is well worth investigating.

This from patcharen was ridicoulusly easy. u add your folder with fxps for a vsti.. name the fxb name.. press go and voila.. a nice soundbank saved up for future use. cant be easier than that.

yeah I was thinking fxb to fxps. Converting a bank to a bunch o patches.

That's a cool utility. I'd like to see another one that does the opposite too, so I can organize smaller banks into one big one by extracting all the .fxp's and then putting them all together into a .fxb.

a good example are those smaller banks from stewart for ASynth - it would be cool to take those 4 banks of 32 presets and make one full 128 patch bank out of all of them.

I tried the prog from Patch Arena, but Tracktion wouldn't recognize the fxb's. I can't use MiniHost because my ancient soundcard won't do ASIO4ALL. I get by though. The good thing is I have to be selective when building a bank.

how do i make fxb from several fxp ?
