Pretty amazing. Decent recording quality, as well.

On a related note, has anyone seen Paul McCartney Uke version of "Something" from "Concert For George"?
It is beautful, moving and a revelation.

That's Jake Shimabukuro, a Hawaiian phenom--really amazing stuff. He has a few CDs out and is releasing "Dragon" in Japan in a few weeks where it should sell 100,000 or more.
Interested to know how you guys from around the world pronounce "ukulele"? You players likely know that in Hawaiian "uku" means "head lice" and ukulele is generally thought to mean "jumping flea."

Jake's good, but I like James Hill better. (A little bit of local pride, of course!)
Most people around here pronounce it "you koo lay lee" but it's really supposed to be "oo koo lay lay" right?
Anyways, for those interested in ukuleles that are nice beyond what any ukulele should ever really be, I'm redesigning a website for a local luthier who makes 'em so nice I volunteered to redo his website just so I could in some small way help excellence be successful: http://www.ykawakami.com/mockup/full/Fr ... -02-01.jpg
