Hi
Is there a quick way in Cubase SX3 to switch the stereo output to mono (i.e. summing the stereo channels)?
Do I need a plugin to do this or can I do it from within Cubase?
Thanks.

Go to ftp://tbtserver.no-ip.info/old-tbt-vstplugins/. There you'll find SXmono. I'm not sure if it will work for your version of Cubase, but give it a try. Tbt's plugs rock!

I'm not sure what you meant by this...?bmanic wrote:They just keep on comin don't they??
But anyway, this is definitely something I wish could be sorted out in Cubase. It's like, I understand that the surround options make things more complicated (even though I would guess VERY few people, statistically speaking, actually use surround) -- but geez -- it's always been hard, after years of having that little BUTTON to monitor in mono, to NOW have to jump thru (tiny) hoops to do it...

This version of SX was just recently cracked, and so pretty much any question is going to be presumed to be from a user who recently acquired the software.TokyoTain wrote:I'm not sure what you meant by this...?bmanic wrote:They just keep on comin don't they??
It's a reasonable assumption -- there is a strong correlation between a warez release and a flood of questions, particularly with something like a Cubase or Cakewalk product.

Frank, I tried this and it works a treat in SX3!frank001 wrote:Go to ftp://tbtserver.no-ip.info/old-tbt-vstplugins/. There you'll find SXmono. I'm not sure if it will work for your version of Cubase, but give it a try. Tbt's plugs rock!
This is much easier to use than altering the pan positions each time. Thanks for the info...

No, just U. I don't dance with the Steinberg devil.paulwheatley wrote:Never assume anything, or you'll make an ASS out of U and MEjames0tucson wrote:It's a reasonable assumption --
They put too many constraints on my artwork, and I can't accept that.
