i bought the wizoo cd today, a mate of mine didnt need/want it anymore and i got it for nothing really.
it wasnt the cd i found on the net tho (an AKAI version but with the same name, Wizoo Electro Collection..), the one i bought was an LM4 version released by steinberg?

anyhow, from what i can see, this one is the better one. the AKAI one seemed to be one older version of this? (i base that on the fact that there are a folder inside this release that is named: Wizoo Electro Collection, and that folder seems to contrain older and not that great samples as in the other Chromatic folders etc..)
the steinberger one seems to be pretty much updated wich a LOT of 909's etc.. and i LOVE IT!
spot on what i was looking for!!! :D

im totally overvelmed here. hehe..
i mean, i only wanted these sounds for fun, to play with, but i still wanted quality and variations. this cd got LOTS of that! :D i actually got a lot more than i ever could hope for.

cant wait to play around with these sounds, will be mucho fun to see what i can do with the old "booring" 909's hehe..

so THANKS for the tip guys!

tee boy, ive looked all over and it seems there are no places here in SE that rents out stuff like this. otherwise i would have done that in a heartbeat. :)
i actually did that all the time 10 years ago, when the only thing i had was a ensoniq EPS. sampling had another meaning back then.

btw, Stefensen, those 808 samples a sweet. I got them a while back (from another place though), the snares and kicks are spot on. I still prefer the Wizoo 808, cuz its really excellent. But as freebies those samples rock. Pity the 909 ones are shite (he also does a 909 pack).

Are you referencing the same 808 samples that Rangtangtang mentioned?

What are the chances of you posting an example of them here? :-D I would love to hear it.
