hey there,

can anyone give me advice on how to setup an instance of sampletank 2 or Sonik2 in pro tools, so that i can have multiple outputs? my slider in the preferences stays locked at 1+2. i'm on a windows machine. i posted in the digi forum but that doesnt look like it will have much success.

well my friend i had this problem as well but pro tools 6.7 only supports multiouts from programs updated recently i.e. kontakt 2... so when 2.1 comes out it will support the multiouts... hope that helps

Long story short...wait for 2.1

thanks REO, yeah i kind of came to this conclusion as well. It will be worth the wait though as the 2.1 will give you the ability to have mono output busses as well. this will be great for anyone who gets the opportunity to mix their sessions on large mixing consoles after tracking all their midi. it's also good for anyone in general as you will be able to turn all your sampletank sounds into audio tracks in one pass
