Protools + McDSP Filterbank plugin problem

OK we use the McDSP filterbank plugins at work with protools, and i have this very annoying problem that happens with all our protools systems

when doing cutoff automation, it's like the filterbank plugin only recieves a certain amount of 'snapshots' of the cutoff automation; which means the cutoff freq sweeps in a sort of aliased, jumpy, jagged fashion

this happens whenever you try to do anything faster than a really slow sweep! let alone trying to do really fast cutoff sweeps; it sounds fuckin horrible!

anyone know what i'm talking about???
