I mostly use the Sonic Timeworks one that was bundled with SONAR (love the built-in spectrum analyzer
), and have recently also started doing more with the channel-EQ's in SONAR as well (which I believe is actually a Sonitus EQ).

isn't it Ultrafunk as well?Rellik wrote:My day-to-day EQ is the one that comes on each Mixer channel in FL Studio - it's an awesome little 3-band parametric graphical EQ. Since it's on every channel anyway, I use it, and it always does the job.
I don't know of anything like that in VST form, though.it's so diminutive and yet it's basically perfect... 3 bands is more than enough for most applications (it can do two roll-offs and a boost at the same time... what more do you need?)

On my main DAW, PultecPro, GlissEQ, and Hydratone. On my crappy internet/etc PC, Nyquist, and Orion's channel EQ. Nyquist really has the slickest EQ interface I've ever seen...plus it sounds nice.

I agree -- I been wanting to say good things about FL's Parametric EQ for a long time -- I use it on almost every track. Some of the presets are very useful too, like the kick drum tightener and snare presets. Really well thought-out little track PEQ.Spyro wrote:I use these two:
For bread and butter eQ I use "FL Parametric eQ" that comes with the "Mastering pack" from www.pluginspot.com (very cheap and useful)
For vocals, guitars and sensitive stuff I use "Wavearts Trackplug" www.wavearts.com truly great plugin.

trackplug works pretty excellent for such minimal cpu use.
