Look, you're being an arrogant asshole. I understand why you're being an arrogant asshole. You want to coax anger out of us. You want reaction from us.

But you know why people are getting pissed off at you?

Because we see it every day. Because we see the uselessness of life, the modernization of self-destruction. We hear the lies of the leaders, the selfishness and total lack of respect from our fellow humans in the Metro, on the bus, at work, on the road. We see it so clearly.

And it's shoved in our face everyday.

And we come home, and we see our family/loved ones, and we feel the relief that the day is over.

And we make music.

and then we log onto KVR, to indulge into our love of music and our love to make and share our music...

...and we have to read this bullshit.

People are put down enough day to day. We don't need someone in our little audio sanctuary doing the same.

Even if it is with good intentions, and you don't really mean it, i think that at best, it's a total lack of judgement on your part.

You spoke of Negativeland? They ended up with one of their songs on a coke commercial. Of course it was not witht their approval, but the fact remains that their were images of coke bottles and sexy bikini chicks in hot red convertable cars with negativland in the background.

I know why you're angry. Go ahead tell me I don't, whatever, but I do. Some dumb shits won't, but at what point is enough enough and you just write them off as dumb shits? Sadly, those folk at the bottom aren't the dumb shits who deserve it most.

If you look closely, I mean really close, you'll notice that despite the surface detail of calling you names, xoxos really is trying to speak to you as though you are worth saving.

It's shocking, I know, because you so clearly are not. I suppose it's not all martyrdom, as he surely wants to not see the world choked out, but since he's been so gracious as to not dismiss you outright, maybe we can overlook that one act of arrogance.
