Hey all. I have been using Cubase SX2 and the LM-4 and DKFH now for a while with no probs.(My kit is triggered to a Alesis DM5) . Everything works great. my question is
When u are using the Toms sounds. it groups all the toms in 1 channel in the mixer. (lm4 loaded with the Toms file). is there anyway i can put each tom on a seperate channel in the cubase mixer to adjust each one seperatly.???
I need to do this to the Kicks as well (2 of em).
Do i need to load up a lm4 each tom and kick sound or is there an easier way? (less stress on cpu)
Thanks all in advance

Hi...I also have the dm5...although this is not involving the dm5. : )
I`ll have at look at the sx/lm4 combination later on ...and see if I find another solution.

Open the LM4, GUI, and click the pad that relates to the sound you want to route.
On the right hand side, use the scroll bars on the output section to chane the output for that sound (on the LM4 MK1 there is a stereo and 4 mono outputs).
I assume similar applies if usisng LM4 MkII.
Bas.

I am using the LM4 MK1. Ok thanks. So changing the output in the LM4 GUI will achieve this? So on the mixing desk in Cubase i can seperate the toms and kicks to be on seperate tracks so i can adjust them induvidually??
I will give it a go.. Thanks ...

It does, and that is how I (used to) use it.Marduk wrote:.....
