What is best?
For what purpose?
With which preferences?
For what music style?
Judged by what?
Compared to what?
I mean, if you aren't able to to hear, what a good reverb is, so then you probably will have some difficulties to be a "musicmaster".
And do you really expect to get any useful answer to that sort of question?
edit:
I guess, your hard disk just will be allot of MORE CLUTTERED after that action here for some certain reasons, right? (Because everyone will probably suggest something different, you know?)

The search function brings you hundreds of results. What he's asking here is everyone's favorite.loomchild wrote:threads of that kind pop up every couple of days or so.musicmaster wrote:Is anybody out there????
You don't even have to use the search function.
I've made dozens of threads like this.

Well. As you actually can see now: You merely will get a kinda advertizing that way. 30 to 50 percent of the most active members here are developers or SE creators for some reasons.
So please guess, what will you finally have here, if it is ready?
Probably a cluttered "sammelsorium" of hundereds of "best" plugins.
Much fun I wish!

I miss quite a few toy categories here...
1.Delay
AnalogFlux and Classic
2.Reverb
Dunno, I use PSpace Light and Boy and Classic. I never understood other people's fascination with reverbs, probably because I cannot mix/master.
3.Distortion
Are you serious? Does LampThruster fit into this category?
4.Compressor
Crunchessor, GAC, GCO, GUP, GPP (doesnt fit anywhere else)
5.Chorus / 6.Flanger / 7.Phaser
Classic, GMO, AnalogFlux, E-Fex, Vintage Modulator
8.EQ
Classic, GlissEq, GEQ
9.Actress
Sharon Stone
10.Movie
Total Recall
11.Best Thread
The "Your best VST:s"-thread
btw. I'm not a developer nor a SE creator. I'm only a credit card for hire

The best VST's are not easy to drop into a simple category - that is why they are great.
The only one who can answer your question, I am afraid, is you ! If you have some burning need ask a question which it would be possible to get a legitimate answer, otherwise you will find yourself looking at a list which says more about the poster than the equipment listed.
This does not invalidate what any poster is saying in any way it just will, I feel, not help you in the slightest.
You could begin by telling us what you are trying to achieve beyond housekeeping...
