Hi!

This plug sounds great!

I'd like to know what do certain parameters do. Like the 3 algorithms and the 3 modes (M, F and S). Is the dull-sharp settings connected to the algorithms?

Then on the top: what does 'auto' do?

And: if the symbol between L and R is black (aka not grey), then it means it's stereo linked, right?

Thanks! :D

Oh, while we're at it...:D

What are the push and pull functions in the ToW Compressor?
(Even tho I think I know what they sound like.)

Thanks again!

If I were you I would wait for this one instead:

Image

This one got:

Stereo link that don´t suck
Adjustable Knee instead of three fixed speeds
Adjustable preserve stereo field link
RMS indicators for output
Won´t crash att rates higher than 44.1khz
Two algos fast and a very much smoother
Memory optimized e.c.t

YEAH! :o Looks like you're uniting the best of your plugs! Looking forward to it. :)

This is really just an enhanced version of the old TLs Maximizer...

None of my limiters so far have the same core where
all the algos are from scratch in each case.

Personally I like the Pocket limiter best but this
one is the most transparent of them all at the
cost of latency so high that you have to see it as
a post production tool.

I use it when i just want to raise the volume and
get no character...

I actually forgot this one where it was 99% ready
over 1.5 year ago. Just came across it recently
when I was looking for some sourcecode...

Thanks for explaining that. Personally, I can't decide if I like Pocket Limiter, Tube Limit or Tls Compressor the best...they each got their own flavour, all very good on drum busses.

It is an old picture... I renamed it to output.

I can't wait to try the enhanced version of this thing ! it seems great !
I really do like a lot your plugins, i'm glad to see you back...
I never tried until yesterday your old distortion/tube amp, i thnik they are among the best sounding plugins, they have so muych body, it gives warm and fatness without loosing dynamics : great work in my own opinion...
When can we expect to see TLS max ex released ?
Just another question : why are you sometimes labelled as Tbt, and sometimes Tls ?

Post

these are all really great on wispy ethereal pads that have to have some body added to fit in a mix

glad to see you're back
use your plugs in every project

TbT= Tin Brooke Tales.

TLs = the new series of plugins where it really
started with TubeLimit Simple,
a plug that ended up as TLs Maximizer.

The Tls Maximizer EX will be released at the same
time as the new site enter the cyberspace...

and when that is who knows.....

STREWTH!

I can't wait!

I use TLs Maximizer a lot on lead vocals as a channel strip, as you can squeeze and give body and remain wonderfully transparent. It's also sweet on a drum buss.

My compliments,

TheCaptain.
...well officer, it was like this...

the only tiny cloud i could have with TLS maximizer, is that it had a little latency, so i did not use it while playing Live... Will the future version be latency-less ?

Post

Will the future version be latency-less ?
nope. 2400 samples at 44.1khz
