Is it legal to install Sampletank on 2 seperate computers..ie a pc and a laptop at the same time?
I was looking for some portability using my laptop and a small midi controller. Also if my hard drive dies and i lose everything or a rebuild would i have any problems reinstalling Sampletank, Sonik Synth?
Reason I am asking is I am considering re-formatting my computer to do a complete clean re-install of everything and I want to make sure i wont have problems re-installing my bundle.

Reinstalling is not a problem. If you change hardware, your Digital ID might change. In that case you'll need to get a new authorisation code from IK, which is just like how you already did it, when installing the first time.
About installing on sevral PCs. You wouldn't be allowed to use the 2 plugs simultanously, that's for sure. If I were a business owner I would not answer yes to your question in a public forum. Would be a good idea to mail esoundz directly about it.

Thanks for the info Tele. I did some reading on their site and it appears you cannot have the application installed more than once. Kinda stinks a little in my situation but I can understand their point also.

AFAIK you are allowed to install on 2 computers and
you have 3 authorizations before you need to contact
them to allow you any more

Nice research job, Raven. Well done, that makes it official and takes it out of the realm of opinion. Very well done.Raven wrote:The "IK Multimedia Product" may be used only by you. I don't know the link but this IS the official policy at IK. I know - I have ST2 installed on Mac and PC because of this. I remember asking about this before I joined a Group Buy this spring.
