Just out of curiosity.
Did you go to the mixer and selected "Link selected channels starting from this track" after selecting the allow multi outs?
I didn´t see being mentioned in the thread and it seems as the obviuos, but I had a hard time figuring this one out.
Later.
no offense germ, but you dont have to have that checked...it automatically assigns the tracks following the plugin (once you have assign the plugin to a mixer track)...that's why I put vsampler in slot 16....then bank B is vsamplers outs...the same should be done with fpc imo...which come to think of it fpc is a multi output pluggin as well...you dont have to select linked channels for that either....;)
Some VSTis need you to check it. Microtonic comes to mind right now.
If you try to assign different mixer channels wj¡hitout allowing multiple outs it will assign only one channel if memory does not fail me.

in that case wouldn't you use link starting from this track as opposed to linked to this track (ctrl L)?

I apologize germ, you already said that...

yeah, you just have to configure the plugin to send specific tracks to specific outputs, e.g. hypersonic only has 4 outputs but 16 tracks, so you have to select which tracks go where

Post

that's different though...do you you have to assign the four outputs to four mixer tracks in FL? Or do you have to assign which output you you use in hypersonic? Or both for that matter. From the manual
FL Studio supports VSTi plugins with multiple outputs. In the plug-in window, click the down-arrow menu (upper left corner under the red plug-in icon). If the plugin supports multiple output, you will see "enable multiple outputs", select it. Now the first output will be set to whatever FX channel is initially assigned to that plug-in, and each successive FX track will contain the additional outs. For example, a plugin with 4 outputs assigned to FX track 10, takes tracks 10, 11, 12 and 13.
You should not have to assign anymore tracks after assigning hypersonic to a free mixer track. or assigning it to a track through through the channel settings. The rest of the outputs on hypersonic should be assigned to each mixer track in FL after hypersonic...;)

Hink, you need to manually set the output of each instrument in Hypersonic (on the 'Mix' page) if needed, otherwise they are all sent to mixer track 1.

I assume if you have to set in hypersonic then you have to do it for all hosts...no? In vampler I have up to 16 outs that also have to assigned them in vsampler...and you can send different zones of the same instrument to different outs...;)
