I just ordered this last night:

It's $149 until June 29. Normally it's $299. (I believe the discount pricing applies to Cakewalk customers only.) I bought it mainly for the parametric EQ and multiband compressor, but the real surprise was the reverb. I tried a Roland piano soundfont with the "Cathedral" preset and...

This is the same effects pack that comes with Sonar 3 and 4 - Producer Edition.

Wow, 50% off is a pretty good deal and you get both DX & VST versions. The fx:Reverb is one of the better native 'verbs out there.

No problem. The other day I remember thinking, "Ok, maybe I should take it easy on the old credit card this month." Then I got the email from Cakewalk and I couldn't resist. Now I can hold off buying Sonar, especially since Cakewalk plans to raise the upgrade price by a $100 in the near future.
