Helllo all,
I am searching for avery good Chorus PlugIn, i found some free ones but I did not like them, I don't like the one in Logic Audio,too... I still prefer the great Chorus from Yamaha (used in there Synthies Cs6x up to Motif ES), it's a really great Chorus with a lot of parameters to change and last but not least, the Chorus sounds fantatsic... Any other around with a lot of parameters and a good sound??? Let me know... VST (PC) or AU (Mac), i use booth systems...
Frank

The Kjaehus Classic is indeed nice, but also check out their Golden Modulator plug. It's one to pay for, but try the demo and see what you think - I was sold then I heard it!!

so far I did not see a big advantage of GMO, the two sounded just very similar (and very good) to me. I even found it better to have just the knobs which are needed. but today an update of GMO was released with a high cut filter implemented and if one is after a darker sounhd then it is only avaiable with GMO. so check the demo.

Try Voxengo's AnalogFlux chorus.
Besides maybe the best-sounding chorus plugin there is, you also get a stellar delay and some nice tape emulations.

...and Tiny God's Tiny Chorus, which is heavier than most chorus effects.
Re:GMO-1, the substantial difference is that GMO-1 is much more than a chorus, as it has a wider variable delay length, a tremolo/autopan function, high/low shelf filters, several LFO shapes and allows for variable LFO polarity offset.

I've always been fond of Bass Chorus for any instrument; less flangey than most.

If you are not trying for a 'guitar-stomp-box' type chorus but more of a a studio quality hi end production effect (think hardware) than you must check out PSP Nitro. Also the PSP delays as well...
