Are there any free stereo wideing effects on the forums? What about free audio editing software that support vst?

Widening Fx : Spartacus, ChunkWare Orban, VoxengoStereoTouch. Go and sit down before you try them. They are amazingly (mega)good !!! !! !

and Elevayta WideBoy..

Also, although it only works for lower frequencies...there is the otiumFX Basslane VST

Rocks like a stone ! Use it together with George Yohng´s W1 Limiter (hello BetaBugs !) and you can´t get up anymore. Together they kill !

I'd need the stereo effect for mastering. The wideboy seemed good, I just need to learn how to use it

The spartacus wasn't versatile enough, but I'll use it for single instruments.

You can use the left bracket url= http etc.. then right bracket, then your visible text and the usual closing bracket and slash....
