I was wondering if anything ever became of this plug-in:

I downloaded this one or two years ago (I think) and I just love the sound of this one; has some great, analog-style pumping action, kills on drums and bass and is easy as hell to use!

According to the readme, it was 99% done and was going to be completed and released. Any news about this plug-in?

It's a nice plug, also because you can set the ceiling to -0.01 dB to have the headroom for the dither. Therefore useful as a very semi-last plugin.

Some other limiters go to 0 dB and if you add (the mda) dither you get clips.
I've been trying to get a simple vol adjuster, to avoid that, but didn't find it yet. The one, made by the french guy (sorry, don't remember the name) is too inprecise.

An addition to what I said: I'd like the option to set the output ceiling in every plugin, very precisely, like to -0.02 dBfs or so...

But not on the front panel, rather on the back, in some hidden settings.

Just a thought... what do you think?

That's a good idea. Of course that's up to the good graces of the developers.

I could only get the ceiling to 0.02db; doesn't seem to be a fine-tuning modifier on the VintageMaxi...

On the BuzVintageMaxi: You can fine tune by holding Alt and then with the circular movement from a bigger distance.

Great news!

bduffy: For the finetuning: It's not just about holding the Alt key, you must then drag the clicked mouse on the outside, so that you're turning the knob from a bigger radius.
This should definitely make finetuning possible.

Just checked your website and I notice BuzComp Free ver.1.2 is comong soon. Is there any chance you could make the GUIs a bit easier to read please..? I mean, not so dark. They're a real eye strain for me.
