How come such an important feature is not in live 5 or is it? Its in logic. And don't tell me you do that at mixdown. cause I don't have a mackie universal control.

in the arrangement view there are drawable curves for all that stuff ...

1 - expand the track you want to work on

2 - from the 1st drop down menu choose MIXER

3 - from the 2nd drop down menu select the mixer function to automate

4 - draw the envelope / curve in direct on the track timeline as required (zoom in for finer control / higher resolution)

... of course - theres also the nifty clip envelope automation functions too

I know i can draw it, but its would save time havin spline, know what i mean.

agreed ... but as i use a graphics tablet and switch snap to grid off when drawing automation i dont REALLY miss spline curves since drawing is actually faster for me ...

oh yeah ... dont forget ... switch draw mode off (CTRL+B) and you get standard breakpoint (sadly NOT spline curved though) envelopes to play with ... double-click to set a point and click-drag to then move it ...

Where are the ableton 5 curves for volume, pan, send, etc...
