still a minimum of 2 weeks away I'd 'spect. The beta hasn't been opened to the common folk yet :singer:
If it sounds good it is good.

Are ableton going to give you operator free with version 5 ?, one of the reasons i bought #4 was because i thought it came with operator , how wrong i was.

Post

I'm common folks -- downright plebian -- and I'm in the beta. =^_^= It's inconsiderate of the Abletons not to put more errors in there for us to find though. Too many betas neglect to provide enough bugs to go around. Let this be a lesson to you devs! Don't make your beta testers feel useless, write worse software.

It shouldn't be too much longer now, there's been 2 betas in 2 days and we're up to b6.

I'd be very surprised if they gave Operator away with Live5, the new features are well worth the cost and then some. I can't believe how much difference the PDC makes, add to that the new fx (which are fantastic) the way you can store patch and plugin info in clips, and the ability to send midi out from plugins (just add energy XT  )

And it all works! I can't find much of a problem with my setup anyways.

I didn't get operator, couldn't afford it, wouldn't have bought it for that if I could. But this update is fuckin fantastic, I honestly couldn't go back to 4 after using this beta.

:dog: Sorry guys, didn't want to make you want it more or anything.

it is fkn excellent though :hihi:

Ableton said the end of this week and it would be open to everyone. And I think they were aiming the release at late July.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

bug reports are slower to come in already, its way more stable then 4 was at this point. The one thing is there are still a ton of bugs they have on the plate yet to be fixed, so things may be a bit deceiving :) But its just a matter of time, they really have some smart people working for them, the fixed 14 bugs from yesterday to today!
If it sounds good it is good.

Au contraire, you're one of the elite KVR synthesis glitterati.
