Thought put into them does not = thought derived from listening to them which explains why they are just burning up the pop charts. Inaccessable art is just that.

i beleive it has already been said,"you cant write a song thats never been sung".

I could write a song in complete gibberish and sing it. If it were just for art's sake that would be enough but this months competition was not just about art but about relevance to todays music marketplace.

They didnt. If you look at some of those I voted for I voted for them (as I will explain later) because in a different time they could have been signed to a major. Many entries might have done well in the 80s. Also geography need not be limited to the US or UK. There is stuff signed to majors for distribution in certain countries that we never hear on the radio here so i took that into consideration too..

perhaps for kvr but the attitude of win at all costs is exactly the one bred into you in the current music industry and my entry and conduct here over the past month was basically one hell of a show of what i like to call Divaextreme.
