Do you know that ST ssample set? Ebay?

This one is for sale on Ebay. I'm kind of suspicious because I have never heard of such
a "first class" vocal library for Sampletank anywhere.

They don't even mention a company name? Strange, does anyone know these guys? It's sent from Turkey as it seems. May well be that they just took a vocal library, converted it to ST2 and now sell it. I wouldn't wonder about it, sice in Turkey it seems to be easy to buy fakes of any kind (expensice watches, clothes, ...)

Oceanway Studios? 2 Pros? Sounds like Nick Phoenix and Doug Rogers to me. That would mean it's Quantum Leap Voices Of The Apocalypse if it is, and it was NOT in ST2 format. I'd have to check the size of VOTA, but my machine is powered off and I've got to get to work here in a few minutes.

Never seen an eBay listing where the FEEDBACK COMMENTS ARE ALL HIDDEN. The same seller has three copies of Arturia ARP2600V and one of Waves Platinum for 290 eur (!).

Also requires wire transfer for payment, one of the hallmarks of the eBay scam artist. I wouldn't touch these auctions with a three-meter kutup.

Well it might be interesting for a company like EastWest to buy it and see whether they are selling illegal copies of their samples. Otherwise, one should stay away from a product without product name.

I never knew the license agreement covered anything about beastiality, Squids must have everything covered in that license agreement of his.

Anyway, clearly this person is going to get a tough time off both EW and IK/SR for being such douchebag. EW are clearly very well tied into the Kompakt sample player, likewise SR have lush choirs coming with Miroslav - so it's not like the guy is exploiting a hole in the market.

Somehow that reminds me of my trip to Poland in 1988. In the big cities, you'd have lots of people selling illegal copies of Dire Straights albums and other famous bands on the street. I think it wasn't even illegal for Poland back then, cause in their communist system, that they still had back then, this type of copyright law did not exist.
