... any discussions relating to the rules and their interpretation ... or individual entrants ... or personal attacks ... or self-publicity ... should be made in sperate threads in everything else / off-topic / HPC ...

... as a test this month im now quite willing to dump / edit any posts that look like theyre turning this gossip thread into what the last 2 have become ... so please take this as notice and dont get all pissy if i mess with your posts ...

I don't think so. For example, YouTM's and Wopelka's June entries did extremely well, but don't strike me as all that dance-able compared to some others. They wouldn't get my vote as music to dance to. Ziokiller's "Noisy Town" might though.

I would like to join again this month,
and it as always been a comp for one month,
only one time I remeber we did an extension.

Well, she did deserve that first place, though, I'll have to admit. That was just about the most pop-ish sellout song I've ever heard.

I think this month's theme is great! Most of my music is not danceable

so it will be a challenge for me. Great idea.

I'm interested to hear how people address the time signatures. Their are enough talented musicians around here that this should inspire some pretty catchy stuff. (I mean, c'mon - we've already had multiple DnB stuff posted here in 5/4!
