i just tried this new chorus - i can only say WOW.

I never liked any chorus too much - but this one sounds fantastic.

I'm really consider buying it.

imo the axample of classic chorus which I posted sounds equally good to CE-1

i tried alread every chorus (including GMO-1) - none ever made me said "wow" - the UAD one did

Stop fighting and check the new GMO-1 release. The new filter should apeal to those who like vintage Chorus's

(and AKJ actually referred to the free Classic Chorus verstaerker

As long as you don´t provide Mac compatible Plugins

there is no choice for me but the UAD chorus

and i just wanted to let you know that the new UAD chorus sounds great - i haven't checked the latest version of GMO-1 yet, but probably i wont, cause i'm to biased on the UAD...

I have a UAD-1 on my birthday wish list- You can never have too many good quality efx. I may eventually end up with both. but Verstaeker, you should give it a *try*, you may even like it. but hey if you dont that is fine too

UAD-1 biased as I am i tested the GMO-1 again and compared it to the UAD Chorus. For me there are worlds between
them. The sound just can not be compared. The UAD chorus sounds so much warmer, wider and better.
The GMO-1 sounds nice and is very versatile but the UAD chorus is just something else.

verstaerker, lets have a blind test and a vote with lets say 3 sounds from each plugin. The sounds should be as much alike as possible meaning no panning and alike from the GMO-1 and of course the new filter set to 3-4k or so. That's much better than talk

Torben, don't take it too hard.

I bet UAD's chorus is actually not really usable in current sound standard reality. It's too old sounding.

new UAD-1 Chorus CE-1
