so what's actually wrong with gliss?steffensen wrote:
sure, harmonieq sounds über smooth, and i wouldnt be surprised if it were the best sounding eq of them all, but i cant overlook the cpu consumption of it, and therefore i cant really put that one on the top, as cpu consumption really must be taken in the consideration imo.
Tried the Sonalksis EQ

Yea, they do seem a bit, shall we say, "unresponsive" that way.bmanic wrote:wm wrote:I even suggested to sonalksis that they provide x4 oversampling to sort out the high end but they gave a firm no, stating that the EQ is fine as it is..![]()
Can't help but contrast it with (let's say) Aleksey (among many others) who is constantly improving and enhancing his work

yeah cpu usage definately is more important to me than an eq that takes as much cpu than a friggin reverb!

the sound quality is all opinion.. and the interface makes all the difference too
the URS n-series enables me to dial in a sound i like in about 2 minutes. they are also very powerful and you can hear them in action. voxengo EQs are extremely transparent, which can be a good thing and a bad thing.
those two work the best for me..
