under os9 and logic my vst-folder was crowded with lots of plugins .. and yes, i was a happy schnitzel using many plugs on a quite stable system.
under osX i play big brother with the AU-folder, and from 123 legal AU-components only 23 are installed, due to crashfest-paranoia. and wow, i still have crashfests every single day.

now i concentrate on the really important plugins .. an the other ones get the dust. :(

Putte! Stop! think of what you are doing to the mac evangelists on this forum by admitting that OSX can have problems just like any other PC platform.

I cant help it- after YEARS of hearing Mac Users crow on and on and on about how superior their compu-toys were, I have to say GET A PC: Problem solved.

Perhaps - Autechre moving away from computer sequencing, Aphex and Vibert doing acid stuff again. Warp putting out soul and indie rock records.

I think everybody naturally took the whole Richard Devine/MSP thing to the brink right away, just because they could, but now maybe people are realizing that for whatever reason they like doing things in a slightly more immediate, hands-on way.
