However the actual split of bands is a set fixed frequencies. Some questions arise:
a) Why do you want multiband distortion?
With Trash you can apply different distortion algorithms to each band(up to 4 or them).
b) Why not use modulated filters?
What exactly is it about modulating the actual bands. A modulated bandpassfilter how does that not do what you want?
You choose from several filter types if you like.
I found some real spicy tremololike sounds with modulating a heavy distorted guitarsignal with a filter.
And in the end you can run several trash after each other too.
