I just wanted to get this off my chest...I got me a hardware polysix for about 240 euros and I cannot stress enough how much I like it...I made a few comparisons with the same patch setup as a Legacy collection polysix and I must say that, except for the velocity, hardware wins every battle...I've tried it with my band (we play slow, doomy, post-metal) and it fits like a glove...the filter is AMAZING and it's capable of producing everything from low freq rumble to 'ripping your ears' resonance screams...I haven't been able to come up with anything that meaty and fat using the software version, not even with boosting it with all kinds of tube sims and eqing....
there you go
Are there any other polysix users here who would like to exchange presets? I load them from my hard drive as wav files with no problem...

I had a Polysix decades ago and confirm what you´re saying : it´s an amazing synth ! I still have the sounds I made on it, but they´re on cassette (dig. info). I´ll check it out tomorrow. You may have them if you want. Memorable synth, indeed ! Very fat !

SAP,
Have you ever tried the Frostwave Resonator? Apparently that thing is identical to the filter in the MS20. Iv been hunting for one on ebay, but they're like rocking horse shit unfortunately!
