Appologies for the delay in getting back to you!
This is a nice tool! Added to my "things to buy" list. Hard to say when I'll start marking things off that list. I haven't read every post here so it will be interesting to see a full list of features for this. Maybe somebody already mentioned it but it would be nice if it wasn't limited to one octave. I guess loading several instances would solve that though as long as the host could transpose the midi.

@noname: you can just use plain wav-files as "words"!

So do you want me to just put in some words in FL's text to speech for you? It's easy to do so I have no problem with it. I really want to see this developed quickly, I just like it so much. I think it is a genius idea honestly.

i´m also planning on creating a UK female wordpack. some hundreds words already done... and later there could be more like german, french, russian, chinese, whatever-packs

I've tried Klangformer and it's support for Embrola speach synthesis. A little complicated.

Tried the demo. Like it,.
But as has been said: Would like to skip all the robotizing and use an unaffected mode.

Hesitation from buying would in my case would be:
* I can strip a vocal sample up in parts by MicroDicer
* I can strip a vocal sample up in parts whith clips in Live (my current host)
* I can add effects after the samples to my liking, either those included in live or freebees.
* With MicroDicer, I can directly export a midi clip to Live that contains the notes and gates representing the slices. I may be wrong (newbee to this one), but it took some time adjusting midi gate times and timing to get a whole phrase out of the demo app.

What does imply I want it is the formant adjustment and some of the other good tweakable things. I usually does that in Melodyne (still in demo mode, don't tell anybody...), but this is way faster and works very well.

Just a first impression...

PS: I like your AudioTrig, and in Live 5 (beta), it works like a charm.

Another thing:
When opening the parameters in Live for the RoboCoder, there's a lot that are namned "DC_VoltageToFloat" - I can't figure out what that is

here´s a new screenshot , the gui is a bit messy now, but i´m working on it.

@conny_kvr: thx, a clean mode has been implemented! (in fact, you have now 4 operationmodes, robot,clean, external and classic) but cleanmode sounds a bit dull and metallic, to be honest. thats because robocoder is primary designed to be a vocoder. anyway, for some special fx the clean mode could be useful.

these float to volts are synthedit related things - have removed them from automation list.

not totally sure about what you mean with things like slicing and stuff? atm you can just fire up 12 vocals and then play them using the keyboad and make some manipulation using the parameters. i´ve also included a "motion"-engine (:hihi:). this let´s you automate parameters via an onscreen 4d-knob. 32 preset "motions" also included.

i´ve also included a FDN-based "springverb" and a chorus. coming next-> delay and more distortion modes...

Guess I'm just arguing with my self if this thing could do things I can't do anyway with what I got.

Maybe a being lazy thing, but exporting/dragging midi that corresponds to expected gates/notes that will trigger the vocal snaps would be a great thing here, at least I had to do quite a amount of tweaking in my host to get the full "sequence" of "words". That's why I mentioned MicroDicer.'
I mean, when sounds are loaded, you know the length of them, and then it would be great to get out midi thats adapted to the lengths of the "worlds" in termes of gates and timing.

Anyway, you have a great thing going here and I will have a deep look into a new demo version when it comes, and argue with myself a little further!

the external mode is for using external sounds/pads/whatever as carrier for the vocals! (because robocoder is based on a classical fft vocoder) ^^

By the way, about drumatic and robocoder messing up on me the first time I loaded it up. It was just a coincidence. Works like magic.

didnt had time to make new phrases, this will come in future of course.

one bug:
at start it says that it a text-redirector isn´t registered. so far i didn´t found that one. dont ask me , please. have searched for it over and over ...
